The new free summer concert series Nashville Dancin’ kicks off Thursday at Riverfront Park with Donna the Buffalo, Tommy Malone, 18 South and The Lonely Biscuits.
The series runs Thursdays through Aug. 1. Headliners for the rest of the series include Shooter Jennings (June 20), Delta Rae (June 27), Derek St. Holmes Band (July 4), Mishka (July 11), Mike Farris & the Roseland Rhythm Revue (July 18), Edwin McCain (July 25) and Colt Ford (Aug. 1).
Around 10,000 people are expected to attend each week. In addition to music, concertgoers can dine at local food trucks and shop at music-inspired mobile clothing store The Trunk.
Free parking is provided at LP Field with easy access to the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge and a shuttle service to carry people to and from Riverfront Park.
Gates open at 5 p.m. and music starts at 6 p.m.
